Education, not advice

Steady Ledger is general education and a recordkeeping tool. It is not investment, tax, or legal advice, and it does not recommend any particular product, bank, or investment. Examples are fictional and rates shown are illustrations, not offers or predictions. Insured deposits are protected up to legal limits; investments can lose value. For decisions about your own situation, consider speaking with a qualified professional.

The guide explains U.S. accounts and rules (FDIC, NCUA, U.S. Treasury, IRS). The workbook itself works with any currency, but its insurance check uses the U.S. $250,000 limit.

Accuracy

Facts in the guide were checked against the official sources it lists on October 8, 2026. Laws, insurance limits, rates and tax rules can change. Calculations are tested carefully, but please check important numbers against your own statements.
